Class of 2025 forward Justus Fitzgerald announced her commitment to Syracuse on social media Tuesday. Fitzgerald is the second SU commit in the 2025 class. Jasmyn Cooper committed to the Orange on July 8, becoming the highest-ranked recruit of the Felisha Legette-Jack era.

Fitzgerald attends Norcross High School in Georgia. She also played on the Adidas 33SB AAU circuit for Team Elite Hubbard. With Norcross this past season, Fitzgerald was a Georgia Athletics Coaches Association 7A North All-State Team selection. She was also selected as the Region 7 7A Co-Player of the Year.
Syracuse was one of two Power Four teams in Fitzergald’s final list of five schools. The Orange didn’t show interest in Fitzgerald until late in the recruiting process. SU offered Fitzgerald a scholarship on Aug. 8, and she chose the Orange over programs like Howard, Georgia State, Furman and Georgetown.
