University Union announced that the second Bandersnatch concert of the semester will take place on Saturday, April 8 at 8 p.m. in Schine Underground. Rapper-producer redveil will headline the concert, which will also feature hip-hop artist Tom the Mail Man and singer-songwriter Laura Elliott.
The artist redveil comes from the DMV and has found success with his April 2022 release “learn 2 swim.” In the past year, he has established himself as an artist, using elements of hip-hop’s traditional, soulful beats to create songs that reflect themes of grief and personal acceptance. He has recently opened for high-profile artists like Denzel Curry and Freddie Gibbs.
Tom the Mail Man is from the Atlanta area and has emerged as a unique artist with his alternative rap and punk-rock fusion style. Laura Elliot is an upstate New York native who combines soulful lyrics and folk-inspired guitar melodies, to offer emotional and personal songs.
At the show, the Dome Bag Policy will be applicable meaning backpacks, professional cameras, alcohol drugs and re-entry will not be permitted. Attendees will be able to bring clear bags, wristlets, fanny packs and clutches to the event.
Tickets for the concert are available online for $5 and will only be available for purchase for SU and SUNY ESF students, faculty and staff.
